MyDataOrganizer LEARN Upper Lower Screen for Apps

 

App Screen is divided into 3 sections.

  1. Upper Screen
  2. Lower Left Side Menu
  3. Lower Right Result display screen

 

 

 

 

Upper Screen :

For each user Upper Screen can be customized.

Following tables are used for configuration.

  • UpperLowerScreenProfiles : Profile list
  • UpperScreenAfterLogin for Profile : configuration of upper screen is done here.
  • LowerScreenAfterLogin for Profile : When user logs in at that time lower right result screen is configured here for results to be displayed.
  • AppUsersULScrProfiles : User is assigned proper profile here.

 

 

Lower Left Side Menu

Lower left side menu can be customized for each user.

Following tables are used .

  • mymenu_items : Each subject has many items . e.g. Menu(Subject) has Search, Help, Tables, Logout items.
  • mymenu_subject : Misc, Table, Security, Preferences etc. in the following screen are subjects.

 

 

 

 

Lower Right Result display screen

Following tables are used.

  • LowerScreenAfterLogin for Profile : When user logs in at that time lower right result screen is configured here for results to be displayed.
  • AppUsersULScrProfiles : User is assigned proper profile here.

 

 

 

 

Record Menu – Modify and Delete disabled

Record Menu is there at the end of each record and next to title/heading in upper part of record.

Record Menu in upper part will have all the menu links as found in menu at the end of each record . It will have modify and delete links disabled.

Following menu is displayed next to title/heading in upper part of record with modify and delete disabled.

 

Following tables are used for configuration :

  • TableMenuPrefProfiles : it holds menu details for each profile
  • TableMenuPreferences : It is used for assigning TableMenuPrefProfiles to user.

 

 

 

Record Menu with Modify and Delete enabled

Record menu at the end of each record has modify and delete enabled .

 

 

 

User Specific Menu

 Each user can be customized to have user specific record menu for each data record.

  • It is configured in MenuUserTable table.

 

Table Documentation Menu

Each Table Documentation record has menu for table specific details

e.g.

  • calculated-fields/formulas used in table
  • Table extension record
  • Functions tied with table
  • Structure of table
  • all items found in following menu which is related with table documentation record
  • etc.

 

 

Menu created with CalculatedField Formula

Each record of table can have customized menu created with CalculatedField-Formula.

Purchase Requisition Workflow Help

  • Starts with Status=New and action = Submit For Approval by Manager
  • Once request is submitted for Approval-by-Manager , Manager can request clarification, approve it or deny it.
  • If clarification is requested by manager then clarification needs to be submitted.
  • Once clarification is submitted Manager can can request clarification, approve it or deny it.
  • If Manager Denies then it will be end of workflow for the request. Final status is denial of request.
  • If Manager approves the request then request goes to finance. Finance can deny the request or approve-request.
  • If finance denies request then it will be end of workflow for the request. Final status is denial of request.
  • If finance approves the request and if the amount is less than $10K then it is end of workflow for request approval and final status is approval of request.
  • If finance approves it and amount is > $10k then it goes to HeadQuarter(HQ) for approval.
  • HQ can approve or deny request.
  • If HQ approves request then it is end of workflow for request approval and final status is approval of request.
  • If HQ denies request then it will be end of workflow for the request. Final status is denial of request.

MyDataOrganizer Sales Summary Rollup Function Formula

 CustomerSales Data :

 

 

Table Admin Utilities provide options for creation of functions based upon table-fields-columns.

Rollup Summary function ccf50328 is created from it.

 

 

 

Calculated Field Formula is added to the table SalesYear_A31.

 

 

 

Result of use of Summary Rollup Function Formula is shown in SalesYear data.

For each Sales Year sum of Sales is calculated from CustomersSales_A31 and is shown in SalesYear_A31 table.

Similarly in each place where SalesYear field is present , we can use the same technique to get SumSalesRollup

to show sum of sales for the specific year.

MyDataOrganizer Customers Sales Report

Report of Customers Sales is created using group by CustomerType, SalesYear

Summary of number of records ( count(*)  ) and sum(SalesAmount) is created.

Data can be filtered e.g. data only for SalesYear=2018

and group-by report is created from filtered data.

Source Table = CustomersSales_A31

Report Table = CustomersSalesReport

Filter data as needed : e.g. SalesYear=2018 can be checked to filter data for year=2018

We will create asproc which provides sum of two numbers using function created.

Click +-Function (in left side of demo2Menu) for adding function.

 

Form for adding function is filled.

Fill new-asproc-form with the details and submit it.

 

Click Add from asprocDetails Menu to add data to asprocDetails.

Choose asproc-50318 created earlier.

Fill asprocDetails form and submit it.
